It used to be that I carry large bags when going out. But with kids, that has very much changed.
Evolution of the bag sizes B.C. (before children) to A.1.C. (after 1 child) to A.2.C. (after 2 children):
Before Children (where I can TOTE my life around with me when going out)
After 1 Child (where I squeeze in only essential stuff. This is in addition to the mandatory diaper bag.)
After 2 Children (reduced to the bare essentials in my teeny wristlet, on top of the diaper bag AND the pre-schooler stuff that couldn't fit into his backpack)
